Reports To: Director of Technology
The Platform Quality Assurance (QA) Manager plays a crucial role in maintaining the quality and excellence of our platform by developing and enforcing quality standards and testing procedures. The position requires coordinating with development teams, understanding the platform’s technical and functional aspects, and ensuring that it meets the required quality benchmarks.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Establish standards and procedures to identify testing deficiencies and process improvements.
- Coordinate with development teams to understand system requirements and functionalities.
- Design, coordinate, and execute product testing to identify bugs and ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs.
- Analyze data and results of tests to ensure product effectiveness and recommend corrective action if needed.
- Manage a team of QA engineers, assign tasks, and provide guidance and feedback.
- Maintain documentation of testing results, quality assurance metrics, and ensure continuous improvement.
- Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers and product managers) to identify system requirements and ensure consistent project execution.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, including a managerial role.
- Proficiency in QA tools, methodologies, and processes.
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
