In 2017, at just 35 years old, Yann Bizien was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer, a disease with a five-year survival rate of fewer than 2%. Today, Yann Bizien is a participant in our Rosalind Study, helping researchers better understand the biology behind exceptional cancer survival.
Yann Bizien also plays an active role in connecting patients, advocates and cancer researchers. As Cure51’s Patient Committee Manager, Yann Bizien leads an international network of patients and advocates, helping ensure authentic patient voices shape every aspect of the research.

As a participant in the Rosalind Study, Yann Bizien contributes to research focused on understanding exceptional cancer survival. In 2026, Yann is taking the stage at the annual Société Française du Cancer conference, the 2nd International Immun4Cure Immunotherapy Symposium and the annual SFMPP (Société Française de Médecine Prédictive et Personnalisée) conference.
Across these events, Yann Bizien will explore how artificial intelligence can strengthen patient autonomy and engagement in healthcare, bringing the patient perspective into discussions about the future of oncology and healthcare innovation.
